choosing reciever

Hi,

Im new to this so please bear with me.

I have purchased a Bose Acoustimass 15 (the one with the powered subwoofer) and I currently own a Sharp DVD player with Dolby Digital Decoder built in.

Im now looking for a reciever. I havent the slightest clue what to buy. I am considering either a Kenwood VR207 or VR205. What do I need to maximize the use of the Bose speaker system. Im looking to buy a farily cheap reciever now and a good one down the road. Any suggestions??
