Harman Kardon AVR10 TROUBLE

Sorry, but this model of reciever doesn't have the option of having multiple set sof speakers. No A or B on here.
From what someone on irc told me, he thinks that most likely, the connection between the inputs and the pre-amp, or something along that line, has come loose or been disconnected.
It was a display/floor model in the store i bought it from, but would they have any reason to do that? Unless it maybe came appart on its own somehow. What do you think?
I don't wanna open it up tho, until i've taken it back to the store to ask them what they think.
