Stereo to Dobly digital

I assume you mean a Dolby Digital receiver, only Spinal Tap use Dobly. ;-)

To answer, no, unless you have a £3,500 Dolby Digital encoder from Dolby Labs., you cannot convert your pairs of analogue outputs to Dolby Digital.

However, if the receiver is 5.1 ready, meaning it has pre-amp inputs for six channels, you can use the analogue connections directly into it.
