I too have Bose AM-15 speakers and I bought an Onkyo TXDS656 reciever. I find the combination pretty good. I would advice you not to go in for any cheap reciever.

The Onkyo TXDS656 is available for less than $600 at shop4.com or you can contact uncle stereos (unclestereos.com). BTW, you can ask uncle stereos, they can give you a good price for your speakers also.

: Im now looking for a reciever. I havent the slightest clue what to buy. I am considering either a Kenwood VR207 or VR205. What do I need to maximize the use of the Bose speaker system. Im looking to buy a farily cheap reciever now and a good one down the road. Any suggestions??
