They have a lot of documentation you can have faxed to you. You may even be able to down load. Sounds like you may need doc#250 " Connecting a tv & vcr to a surround reciever "

: I recently tried to set up a sony STR DE505 reciever into a surround sound configuration and am having trouble incorporating the TV and VCR. Not sure what wire goes where. I don't have the instructions to the system.
