Pre-wiring a home from VCR to stereo rcvr

Posted by Hank Chase on September 25, 1998 at 23:33:43:

My stereo rcvr. is in one room and my VCR & TV will be in another. I want to lay wire before they put up the sheetrock. I know I'll need nail-on electrical boxes but can't seem to locate anyone who makes cables that are 50 feet long with RCA plugs at the ends. I've been told I can make them myself but what size/type co-ax do I buy and how do I connect RCA plugs to the ends. Someone told me they make a small box for the wall that has a female RCA socket attached so I don't have to run so much co-ax. Does anyone know of a source for what I'm looking for or a publication or book I could buy that would help?
Any assistance is appreciated in advance.
