do you have your receiver hooked up to a splitter? i fried to 2nd generation sony receivers when i had a splitter hooked
up to bring the signal to other rooms.
sony told me the splitters can not handle the signal, & will "fry" it. i purchased the sony multi-room distribution system and it has worked fine for 2 years. you can alson connect your vcr or dvd player to it and watch movies in any room in your house.
