Ken,

I don't think you can beat a good 35mm photograph scanned (particularly if it's a slide), but since all the SMR folk went digital we've found things a whole lot easier. You can take many photographs and simply discard all those you don't like - seeing the results in moments helps too. We've all migrated to Olympus recently, Alan will probably get the D-600L as has Nigel whereas I'm using the D-620L. Another F3 regular uses a D-400Z and it's most impressive.
