Calm Down, fellow A/V enthusiast! didn't you notice the SMILIES in the aforementioned messages?

Now if you want to "denigrate" a system, here's some "ammo" (what I HAVE):

Optimus A/V ProLogic receiver
Optimus Passive subwoofer
Realistic speakers for "surrounds"
Optimus center speaker
Advent main speakers
Optimus dual-cassette deck
Pioneer CLD-D506 Combi Laserdisc
Panasonic A110 DVD player
RCA "Home Theater Series" Hi-Fi VCR
"Basic" RCA CD player (single-disc)
"Generic" #18 Radio Shack wire for speaker feeds
"Generic" Radio Shack and "manufacturer-provided" patch cables

You shoulda seen the "vitriol" I got over at Compuserve a couple of years ago because I DARED TO "RECOMMEND" Radio Shack audio stuff. :)

Therefore, I RESPECT the equipment anyone has in their "Home Theatre". It most certainly BEATS the crappy "amp" and speaker(s) in modern TVs.... :)

Of course, it never hurts to have the "Binford" line of "Home Theater" stuff (MORE POWER!!!!!!).
