No offense taken (see my previous reply). :) One of the main "problems" of this communication "medium" is the lack of "personal feedback" (i.e. body language, vocal intonations, etc.). Therefore, the "godsend" of the "smilie" (smiley? smily??).

: This little debate is getting interesting, by the way, who would have thought a simple cable question could escalate into this little fireworks show? :)

I don't know how "old" you are where A/V equipment is concerned, but "just about any subject" can (and usually does!) result in a "religious war" - especially where WIRE AND INTERCONNECTS are concerned! :)

In that vein, our little "sparking" is OK as long as it doesn't become "knock-down and drag-out".... :)
