WHy is 40% of DVD screen black??

: Yes, but if you think the 620L is expensive, you're not going to like the price tags on the SLR digital cameras! The Olympus 600 and 620L will allow the use of add-on lenses, so some of your collection may work (wide angle, macro etc.,) but not the zooms.

Why not? all the lenses I have are OLYMPUS-COMPATIBLE lenses, with the SAME OM-BAYONET MOUNT. Therefore, my "cannon" zoom (80-200mm) should be able to interface with the camera.

Of course, there's the "weight problem" on the mount to consider, but it can be dealt with... ;)
