Further to Ken's advice; I would also make sure the RG6 coax cables to the DSS LNB are not shorting out internally; check for bits of shielding touching the inner copper conductor; check for tight crimps on the F56 connectors as well. I would also install a dual grounding block on the incoming RG6 coax cables - ground the blocks to a copper cold water pipe or electrical panel ground. Run a continuity check on the coax cables to make sure they do not have a dead short. Remember to unplug (not just turn off) the DSS receivers before disconnecting the RG6 cables; the receiver sends 13-18 Vdc to the LNB all the time, even when the receiver is turned off -- so unplug first.Rob
