Denon 1700 vs. Yamaha 793

In my opinion, go with the Yamaha. Yamaha receivers are fine with music - many people prefer then over Denon in fact. Also keep the deep discounting of the Yamaha in mind - good deals are out there.

: I was looking to buy a reciever that was Digital, and the two best recivers that I seen were the Denon 1700 and the Yamaha 793. So I was wondering if anyone else had some imput on which one was better. Because I heard that the Denon sounds better in music, but the Yamaha sounds better in movies. I'm going to be running Polk RT8's in the front, RT3's in the rear, and CS225 as the center channel.
