Speaking of the discounts available which one of the other people responding to this message mentioned, I have one for you. Yamaha makes two different product lines in their receiver category, the concert series and the component series. The real reason they do this is so that different stores can not compete with eachother on price. The model I carry is the Yamaha RV1105, a 99 model receiver with Dolby Digital, DTS, over 30 DSP functions, SVid switching and 100 watts per channel. This receiver is essentially the same thing as the RXV-995, ask any Yamaha sales rep and they will tell you the same thing. This model RV1105 is higher than the RXV-795. The RXV-795 has less wattage (85 watts per channel instead of 100 watts)as well as lacking certain other features. We carry the RV1105 for $699, but since you saw me on the net, you could have it for less, about $575. This is about $225 lower than the Good Guys! carrys the RXV795 for. Call or email me for a Yamaha rep# or for any other questions. Email me or call to make sure we have the product you are looking for and I will personally give you the lowest price, below our company price, which will be the lowest price around. Give me an email here at VideoOnly@aol.com if you are interested or wish to clear up any other questions. I look forward to hearing from you.: I was looking to buy a reciever that was Digital, and the two best recivers that I seen were the Denon 1700 and the Yamaha 793. So I was wondering if anyone else had some imput on which one was better. Because I heard that the Denon sounds better in music, but the Yamaha sounds better in movies. I'm going to be running Polk RT8's in the front, RT3's in the rear, and CS225 as the center channel.
