DSD, new 5.1 format????

Why don't they just use Dolby Digital as a music audio format? Will it not fit on a CD? DTS does! If you can fit a full album in DD on a CD there will be no need use DVD. If Dolby Digital would put some music out there on CD's, all of us with DD receivers and CD players with digital outputs could get 5.1 channel music without buying new equipment. This is what DTS attempted but. . .

What the hell is going on with DTS? Now we have all of these receivers coming out with both DTS and DD, and DTS is dropping the ball on titles. They still have a great chance of stealing the market if they would get some more punctual engineers and take their thumbs out of their rear ends.
