Success! - Marantz RC2000Mk2 and NAD codes

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (WinNT; U):

Just a note to let people know that I was having A LOT of trouble getting the NAD T750 receiver codes into my Marantz RC2000Mk2 remote. At the suggested 2 inches distance, the RC2K would ALWAYS accept all the codes but my receiver wouldn't accept them from the RC2000. After MUCH experimentation, I found that the most successful way to do it is:

hold the NAD remote about 8-10 inches away and to the get the RC2000 to learn it. If it is too far (nothing happens) or the RC2000 does not accept it (NG,AGAIN), move the remote closer by small increments. It won't always work but I was able to get it to work with all the controls eventually. It took an hour of retrying before I could get the controls I wanted programmed. Also, I did it in a dark room which I think helped.

Later on, I found that I could use my preprogrammed One-For-All Cinema Seven remote to program the RC2K. I set the One-For-All remote to NAD mode and set the codes in the RC2000 that way. It worked far easier than using the original NAD remote.
