Hmmm.... I just ordered a monitor from them. The monitor was $164 (19" hitachi superscan 753, normally $585.) They took the money off my card, gave me a receipt, sent me a confirmation, and are now trying to cancel the purchase. (Because they screwed up on the price.) In my opinion, this is BS. Its like buying something, getting out to the parking lot and having someone from the store come over to your car and grab the item and take it back inside.

I'm not the only one. 1600 orders were placed for these monitors. Buy.com says they will randomly choose 150 people to receive the monitors at the listed price. The rest of the orders will be canceled.

The fact that buy.com is unwilling to honor a purchase that they charged for and provided a receipt and confirmation for shows that they are to BE AVIODED. They are not reputable. I understand that they made a mistake, but it is there fault and they should pay for this. Hopefully there will be a lawsuit.

: Please tell me of your experiences with Buy.com. I'm not looking to receive my DVD's the next day, but at least within a reasonable amount of time.

: Thanks
