Sound insulation

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95; Gateway2000):

I have a new home that has no insulation in the inside walls or between floors. Is there something I can do to add sound insulation. I heard you can pump stuff into the walls and ceiling that reduces sound attenuation?

Any hints?
