Okay might as well tell you what I have: Receiver: Sony 90ES DVD Player: S300 Sony Speakers: Paradigm Titan SeriesOkay I'm happy with it, I can't crank it that high because I live in an apartment - BUT here's my worries: 1. DTS - I still don't totally understand why/what DTS is & why it's going to be or might NOT be so good? I also understand that my 90ES DOES NOT have a DTS decoder? Or does it? 2. DVD player - I was thinking about upgrading to a higher Sony but would that make the whole system any better? I mean my receiver already has AC-3 & Dolby Digital, why do I need a DVD player with it? Also does Sony make a DVD player with built-in DTS? Other than the Y-cables for the TV (which my TV doesn't have anyway) so other than that should I make the jump? 3. My fronts don't have as much "punch" as I wish when in Dolby mode - I read that if I change all my speakers to "small" on the settings & keep the right & left on "large" it's supposed to make a difference but I really didn't notice any when I did it. What can I do? Please help me out if you can - rather would have an e-mail than a response on here! PeaCe & RespecT
