Yes, good quality video cables will suffice. Monster has dedicated component cables and I have yet to hear anybody profess that it is better than just video cables. A *lot* of Monster's stuff is a ripoff. Ever see the price of their power bars or their "high speed internet" telephone wire. Sigh.
