Your dts solution that Curtis mentions is missing one thing. Your receiver must have a full set of preamp inputs to accept the use of an external decoder, that is, if you want to use the receiver's amplifier to power your speakers. You would be able to hook up a separate amplifier to the dts decoder, and you would then essentially have two separate systems, one for DD and one for dts. A full separate system for dts would be sweet and would propel you into the realm of a truly high-end home theater.
