You got to speak to a tech? How did you do that? Whenever I speak to Suburban here in Newcastle County, Delaware, I have to speak in words of not more than 2 syllables, just to ask for them to give me some indication of when they would be introducing the digital system (I get "Our system is digital already", "Well I know we have plans for it, but I don't know when", "why what's wrong with the current service?" etc etc), then I get "we'll get someone to call you back". No one ever does, even when I threaten to cancel my account and get a dish. Obviously these people get no training in customer service. I can't take much more of it!!

Suburban here are still using the crummy old Jerrold boxes which don't even have proper a/v outputs so I don't think they are upgradeable to digital output.
