The easiest solution by far, in my opinion, and probably the least expensive is the URC3000 IR to X10 control box (approx $30.00) made by Universal Remote and X10 lamp modules (approx $12.00) either wall mount or wall cube style. Check out www.haspro.com. I have this and I can control all my lighting by the Marantz RC2000 remote. Works great. You can even do automated lighting "scenes" or "macros" invoving many lamps by adding the IBM Home Director PC Interface, available at Radio Shack for $45.00 under a diffrent name (It's really made by X10).

Regards, Bob.

: I have a Home Theater that needs remote lighting control. Problem is the existing wall mounted dimmer is NOT line of sight of the seating position.

: Is there a product out there can can solve my problem? Maybe a remote wall mounted dimmer with relocatable IR receiver? The only thing I can think of is to relocate the dimmer around the corner, around 2' away, and go with something from Lutron. Any ideas?
