After being on hold for more than an hour I was transfered to mutiple cable reps. I was then told they would call me back the next day with an answer. After not recieving a call that following day I spent more time on hold and asked to speak to a supervisor. When he couldn't answer my questions he paged a tech..

Agreed. The next time I move I will own a dish. And FYI -- I'm in the Sacramento area (CA). Our cable boxes are made by GE and are stamped with a DD logo. They are actually much nicer than the old boxes since they are as wide as my reciever and CD changer so esthetically they are pleasing.
