You need to make a run of 2 shielded audio cables (left and right audio) as well as a shielded video run. That makes for 3 shielded cables overall - or in cable-eze... a red one, a white one and a yellow one :)

Seriously, do use a good quality cable and if you need to make a junction using a RCA barrel connector, make sure it is very well sealed. Remember once you have this wiring in the wall, that's it.

: I'm wiring my house for a VCR 25 feet from my AV receiver. I don't own a stereo VCR yet. How many wires do I have to run? Is it just RCA right and left or is it RCA left +/= and RCA right +/-?? I only care about playing movies....HELP..
