: I've been reading about tactile transducers and was wondering if anybody has any experience with them? I am considering purchasing some RBH transducers for my home theater couch. I would like to hear from anyone who has actually "felt" them (RBH, Clark, or any others). Are they worth the money or is this just a gimmick that is fun for a few movies then gets old?

: Also, has anybody made their own transducers or used their own amp for their transducers? Thanks.

I agree w/ the others that the sensation of tactile transducers is awesome. I have one pair (AURA BASS SHAKERS 25W)hooked up to my couch. They're fed from my sub out (Yamaha RXV-992) to a small (??20W) amp from an old Kenwood shelf system. I have an Infinity BU-2 sub that definitely needs the help on the low end. The most difficult part is finding a good, even balance b/t the sub & transducers. I've ordered another pair and plan on attaching them to the floor. You must use a sub w/ these.
