IR recievers/transmitters

OK...I wired my entire house with speakers....next problem....contolling the AV reciever. I know there are several IR receiver and transmitter systems. I am looking for CHEAP and a small IR re-transmitter, maybe one that sticks to the reciever IR window...any ideas??
