Modulating: Trouble with Digital inputs
Posted by Dustin Smith [IP: 63.14.53.98] on July 21, 1999 at 20:30:54 Here's the situation: I have a Yamaha DSP-A1 where three digital sources are connecting via either Optical or Coax digital. One is DVD, one is an RCA Dss with dd/out, and one is sony cd changer. I am using a Channel Plus 5435 3 channel modulator to distrubute the video and it is working fine to my other TV's. However, I have inwall speakers in the other rooms that I want to run sound from these sources. The problem I am running into is that all of these components are connected digitally and the DSP A-1 will only allow the audio that comes in digital to go out digital. I thought using the MD/Tape 1 out connected via RCA to the external amp would work, but still no luck. Does anyone know how I could distrubute the audio to the external amp that runs the speakers in the other rooms? Thanks,
