Hi Ken!

Now I'm truly confused and concerned about using a Universal remote. The follow up posted by Randy explains that if IR is too strong, then I stand to blow the electronic circuits on my devices.

If I don't go with a Universal remote, then I'm stuck using 7 different controls for my HT system, not to mention the potential problems that come with using these expensive and system critical remotes for everyday use. But, I definately do not want to take any chances that could result in damage to my components. What to do???

Please, I'd appreciate more help.

Thanks,

Jason
