Universal remotes: are they really safe?

I absolutley agree. I tried a One For All, but it was way too limited (and couldn't control all of equipment), so I followed the advice (from this forum and many other places) and got a Marantz RC 2K.

Great remote who is very flexible, but still has good real keys (I usually don't like to push on flat LCD).

Can higley recommend it and also think that it's actually very cheap considering it's great flexibility (most other so flexible has been 2-4 times that price).
