hi guys, i got got one big problem here. i'm moving back to my hometown in asia,(malaysia) which uses voltage supply 240v/60hz. the problem is, i want to bring back all of my equipment which i bought here. i was wondering if there's a way to modified the transformer in the equipment to accept the 240v/60hz. the component includes: ATI 1506 : needs at least 1800w of power! paradigm servo-15: needs at least 700W power! Theta data basic II.i don't care about my processor (ead encore) and my dvd player because it has selectable voltage input. my only concern is the amp and the cd player. i afraid the step down transformer from 240v/60hz to 110v/60hz will degrade the sound quality which i enjoying now! i don't know if the voltage frequency diferent will effect the performance of any electronic equipment, especially cd transport. ie, runs hot etc. please suggest any method to overcome this situation. if anybody have somekind of tweak to change the tranformer to 240v, please give me the procedure to do that. thanks
