I think it is 50 Hz, same as what other countries having 240 V suply. Please verify it first before doing any non-manufacturer modifications. You have two choices here, 1. Check with the manufacturer if they fix/modify your equipment for the kind of supply you have in Malaysia. This will be expensive as you are getting the job done here (I believe in US) where labor is really expensive. Alternatively check if they have offices in Malaysia where they can do it (it might work out cheaper). 2. I have couple of friends who went back to India where power is 240V/50Hz. They have installed converters (250V/50Hz to DC to 110V/60 Hz) which accept 240V/50Hz input and give out 110V/60Hz. They have parallel wiring in their houses for 220V (with round power pins) and for 110V (with flat power pins). What I am not sure is the power rating of such converters. The ones that my friends bough were manufactured locally. Check if you can get these in Malaysia. Lastly, I don't know if running some equipment with 240V/50Hz and other with 110V/60Hz is a good idea. There will be grounding issues which could make the whole project useless. Just a friendly warning ! You will be better off with running all the equipment with the same type of suply either 200V/50Hz or 110V/60Hz. Just my two cents...
