Good AM/FM tuners any ideas?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

Well I looked through some history here and couldn't seem to pull any info on tuners here. Does anyone have some ideas about good tuners to check out?

I am looking in the under $500 range and want to have AM/FM abilities. So far I have only seen Yamaha's DX 950 I think it is??? Anyhow it was a pretty nice unit. Locks onto signals within .01 mHZ and chases the signal.

Does anyone else have some ideas?
