Networks in speaker cables? Transparent approach

Posted by Mike¥ [IP: 142.194.176.23] on September 26, 1999 at 01:08:31
Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; MSN 2.5; Windows 98; DigExt; msnca2):

I was wondering if networks in a cable like transparent cable are bad. I tried The wave 100, 200 and Music Wave and although I thought the sound to be very defined, it seemed that it lacked a sense of space over the Audioquest. I thought the Audioquest was a little more hollow.

Since Networks filter out high frequencies, could that explain why it seems that the sound is slightly "muffled" or is it the added noise in the Audioquest cable that I'm perceiving as detail?

Please give me your opinion.
