Wow, ok. So there IS a remote out there that can sense whether a device is "on" or "off"! Too bad it's so expensive. I don't want to spend thousands on a remote, so I guess my best bet would be a Pronto? As far as I can tell from online forums, Pronto offers the best bang for the buck. Anybody have suggestions on any other remotes that can learn, support macros, are backlit, perhaps touchscreen (optional), and won't blow a huge hole in my pocket?
