Which Interconnect to use?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):

Hi,

My system is make up of:

Audiolab 8000S(60W into 8ohm both channel driven)
Marantz CD 17MKII
Primare L20 floorstander(biwired)
Yamaha YST150 sub
Nordost Super Flatline Mark II and a cheap OFC interconnect.

Vocal is muffle when I play Rock but not so obvious when I play Jazz & Pop. Bass is also not as tight.

Perhaps changing the interconnect will help. On the other hand, could it be cause by the amp, which in my opinon, not powerful enough. Can anyone advise? Thanks
