audio vs. video cable

For now I'll keep them (they were actually purchased too long ago to reasonably expect a refund/exchange). However, I'm strongly suspicious that Radio Shack (Archer) used/uses the same cable for both applications, and simply puts a differnent RCA connector (white/red for audio, yellow for video). If what Nigel is saying is correct, that a video cable meeting the correct specs can serve as an audio cable, I would imagine it might be cheaper for Archer to use a single type of cable during the manufacture of cables that get joined together into pairs or threes. Plus, I noticed yesterday at a Radio Shack that a single cable was being sold as an'Audio/Video' cable, also suggesting it can be used for either.
