Calibrating/ test tones

Well the internal tones are certainly more "idiot-proof" no disrespect intended to anyone. Using the external source you have to remember to set the volume at the correct level, engage the correct effect and disable loudness etc. With the internal tones you shouldn't need to do any of that.

To be frank I have never noticed a huge difference between the results uising the iternal tones on my DC-1 or MC-1, as opposed to VE or AVIA...and of course, truth be known, the Rat Shack meter is not that accurate anyway, esp at the lower (sub) frequencies.
