I recieved a response from B&W. this is it below.Dear Mike, It is possible to test the tweeter from the wires at the crossover board. Replacement of the tweeter is done at the front baffle. On the front baffle, about an inch in from the top and sides of the speaker, there is a small removable square made up of four of the baffle "bumps" with a hole at the center large enough for a paper clip to be used as a tool. Pull out the baffle squares to reveal fixing screws. There are two more squares just a few inches below the upper ones that also need to be removed along with the screws behind. Now, the tweeter baffle can be taken from the cabinet. The leads are removed from the tweeter (make note of the wire color connections to the tweeter). It may be possible to order a replacement tweeter diaphragm from our Parts/Service Center (978) 664-2870. When it is time to replace the tweeter or if these instructions are not very clear, I can be reached at the same number for basic assistance. You may want to order the Service Manual along with the tweeter diaphragm. Regards, Tim - B & W
