Univ. Remotes: Pronto vs. HK Take Control

Using Mozilla/4.05 [en] (Win95; I):

I've read good things about both of these universal remotes (HT 3/99 issue, for one). Anyone have any strong opinions pro/con on these. Personally, I kinda like the idea of the HK/Gates PC download process as opposed to the canned codes and learning process in the Pronto. Has anyone had experiences with both?
