Scott, there is a difference between macros on the numbered buttons and on the input buttons. IIRC it is mentioned in the manual, but I cannot tell you where as I do not have it with me. I *think* from memory it is something to do with the execution of input key commands. Unfortunately I did not mention it in my review on the SMR main site....
