I can see an advantage to real buttons. I tried to imagine how a Pronto or other LCD remote would 'feel' last night while watching a tape. In the case of the Pronto or HK, you'd (or at least I'd) definitely have to look at the remote to pause, rewind, etc. At least the Pronto, according to what I read, glows in the dark without user involvment so it'd be easier to see where to push. Interesting issue. Let's see what others think...
