svhs Splitters

They're NOT CHEAP - looking at, if I remember right, a $100 STARTING PRICE for S-video switcher/splitters.

If that's a little steep, go to yuor library and check-out the following "Electronics Now" issue:

* July 1998: 1:4 S-video "splitter" project (pg. 31)

I remember this project: "active" in design, fairly easy to build, and not very expensive in terms of parts. You might also want to get this issue too:

* Sept. 1998: pg. 12 - a letter about the above project (a correction? I don't remember...)

Of course, the project article assumes you "know your way around" a soldering iron, electric drill (for holes) and possibly a "hobby" knife. ;)
