I went on an extensive Internet shopping search for an S-video splitter a few months ago but ended up not getting one so I can't tell you how well they work.

From the review of the Monster Entech above, I guess it could act as a splitter and switcher since it has two S-video outs. According to the review, the MSRP on it is $350 but I haven't shopped for an actual street price.

The best price I found on a simple 1 to 2 S-video "distributor amplifier" was the Covid VPRSV2 from Home Tech Solutions for $199.95 (plus shipping I presume)
