Big problem with my Marantz Rc2000 mk2

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows NT; IE4 SP1 Aim Package Version 1.07.4):

I wonder how exactly the learning process goes through. I've taught my Toshiba 2108 dvd and Onkyo TXDS747 receiver with this remote and get the OK signal. But frustratingly, I was unable to use the RC2000 to control my devices. Tried a few times but in vain. Pls help me get through my frustration...Thks.
