Worth buying a DC-1 now?

Using Mozilla/4.51 [en] (WinNT; I):

Hi,

I posted a message for the best sub-$5000 pre-amplifier. After some considerations I decided to buy a demo/used DC-1. Does anyone think it's worth to invest $1750 in a DD/DTS/THX 2.01 DC1?

If I buy the unit, I need the RF-demod since I own a lot of Laserdiscs . Does anyone has it for sale?
