Toshiba SD-2108 DVD/CD Player???

Using Mozilla/4.5 [en] (Win98; I):

The Toshiba 3109 and Sony 550 both cannot read Cd-R (atleast Sony CD-R's) that I have tested. The same CD-R's played fine in a traditional Sony CD player. I suspect that niether Sony (550) nor Toshiba use two lasers.
