Well, you can always PURCHASE a cable box from a distributor ("Nuts & Volts" mag carries their ads). If you do this, you'll have to provide your cable "provider" with the make/model/serial # of the box to get it properly "programmed" for your location. OF course, you might have to "modify" your TV/VCR, etc. setup to "get the most" from a cable box.

Of course, considering the dearth of GOOD programming on cable-TV, getting a mini-dish might actually be better.
