European Tuner in the USA

I think the frequencies are offset differently in Europe than it is here. I know if one was to buy a car in Europe and ship to the US, the dealer would have to get one with US specs. So you might be able to receive some stations but may not be able to receive others.
Is this a digital tuner or analog one?
