in-ceiling speakers

Dipoles: I PERSONALLY have no experience with them, but I understand they're GREAT for surround use. HOWEVER, you have to mount them "differently" than "standard monopoles".

As for their use as "main" speakers: again, I have NO EXPERIENCE with them.

I THINK there's info about dipoles and their use over at the main SMR site (www.smr-home-theatre.org).

That's the best I can offer. I sure hope some of the gurus around here will chime-in... :)
